The latest version of EventPin to come to mobile applications and on the web app includes the ability to follow your favorite events and organizations. Once you start following events, you will be able to view the list of your followed events to keep them separate from your discovery process with an easy reference for later. If you find an organization that puts on many events that you like, you can follow that organizer and check back to see if they have any new upcoming events.
The Event Page
Following an Event
When you are viewing the event page, you can opt to follow the event or the organizer. If you would like to add the event to your “Followed Events” you can click the follow button on the action bar.
Following an Organization
If you would like to follow an organization to add them to your list of “Followed Organizations” or if you would like to see other events that organizer has created, you can click on their organization link from an event, or a direct link an organization has shared with you.
The Organization Page
Following an Organization
When you view an organizations page, you’ll be able to see any contact information, websites or social media links they have added to their profile. On the action bar, you can click follow and this will add the organization to your “Followed Organizations” list.
Organization Direct Link
If you would like to share the direct link of an organization with anyone else, clicking the Share button on the action bar will provide you with a direct link to the organizations profile which includes additional events that the organization has created.
Personal Profile Menu
When you are viewing your personal profile, you will see a Following menu item. Expanding that menu item will allow you to see the the Events and Organizations that you follow by clicking on those menus.
Organization Profile Menu
When you view the menu from your organization profile, you can click the View Organization to preview how your organization profile will look to everyone else. This will also give you the action bar that allows you to copy your direct link.
Followed Events
On the Followed Events page, you can easily see a list of all the events you have followed, allowing you to easily open an event. This helps you easily track the events you are most interested in.
Followed Organizations
On the Followed Organization page, you can view a list of all the organizations you have followed allowing you to keep track of any additional events they may create in the future.
